Oral cancer screenings are an important part of the comprehensive, complete health dentistry we always strive to provide. When you come to see us for an examination, we will conduct a visual/manual screening to detect any abnormalities. We rely on safe, efficient Velscope, Oral CDX, and Vizilite non-invasive technology to screen your entire mouth, neck, and throat for anything that may look out of the ordinary that may need follow up care. We can also conduct an Oral ID Light scan for a nominal, additional fee which uses fluorescent blue light to help them see any signs of oral cancer, pre-cancerous cells, or other lesions.
